I am not posting three hundred and eighty seven posts a day lately only because I am busy with dogwalking and babysitting, making birthing plan checklists, choosing a pediatrician, going to the dentist, trying to catch up with my sleep, trying to catch up with my post-holiday social interactions, looking for plausible and inexpensive ways to get out of my leasing contract, reading The Atlantic in hope of finding a good example for journalism, and of course, I am preoccupied with thoughts about the opening of my book. I am not writing yet, can't seem to find the time (duh!), but thinking hard about it.
So meanwhile, here's a photo of a sunset I saw two nights ago from my window.
You are soo highly organized! I truly envy you for that! I am still stuck in the diaper-feeding-giggling circle and I have only Wednesday eve for my photo classes. Well, it's at least something.

Well, you just had a baby. For all I've heard so far by young moms, this is what happens - you lose control of your entire life, your personality gets completely erased, and you become a slave to a mightily temperamental and demanding creature.

P.S. I only sound organized; in real life I am actually a hermit who lives among mountains of single-spaced manuscripts and survives only on oranges and cheese which John is so kind to provide every Tuesday.
